For the past 11 years, I've been running a design and development agency, growing it from 2 to 60 people. Along the way, we've used a myriad of HR tools. Tools that were bloated, had bad UX, and ended up costing us upwards of $10k a year. We wanted something simple to use, cost-effective, and customizable without being overwhelming. Something that worked for us and companies like us. And that's how PontaHR was born.
After countless conversations with HR teams, hiring managers, and founders, we launched PontaHR to make hiring less stressful and more streamlined.

We’re a small team, but extremely agile and constantly shipping. On the roadmap:
- A LinkedIn browser extension to make sourcing candidates seamless, launching in the next two weeks.
- Deeper integrations with job boards worldwide;
- More granular in-app notifications;
- AI features such as auto-labeling and smart candidate summaries.

Pricing
We keep things simple, transparent, and fair:
- If you hire once-in-a-blue-moon and only need one listing at a time, PontaHR is free!
- Our paid plans start at €7/user/month with no limits on number of listings or candidates.
- BUT, for larger companies, we understand that you don't want to pay for every user under the sun, even if they use the platform every so often. That's why our largest tier is capped at €149/month with unlimited users, candidates, listings, everything.
Our goal is to empower businesses to hire confidently without breaking the bank.

I had a few quick questions based on my experience with Zoho Recruit:
1. Do you have automation, like sending an email with an assignment to applicants an hour after their application is received?
2. Is there an option to publish job posts on free job boards directly from the platform?
3. Can the app handle interview scheduling, where candidates pick slots set by interviewers, and the calls happen within the app itself?

We're focusing on smaller companies and smaller hiring teams at first.
1. This is definitely on our roadmap, but probably a focus at the tail-end of 2025 or H1/2026. We'll have some automation pieces before, but we're thinking of Automation as one feature that spans the entire product.
2. Not at the moment, exploring this!
3. Not yet, that's something we've started working on and are aiming to have it shipped in Q1/2025.
