Hi Product Hunt 👋🏽! I’m Yasser, co-founder of Polymer. We’ve been working hard over the past year and we’re excited to share a major new release of our product with the PH community today. Polymer is business intelligence built for businesses without big budgets and dedicated data scientists. We thrive in teams where people are unfamiliar with “exploratory data analysis” or “ad-hoc reporting” or are overwhelmed with building their own data visualizations, reports, and dashboards. To serve our audience, we created a simple and snappy workflow that doesn’t require any technical skills or setup: 1. Connect 🔌 — Choose from our growing list of data connectors like GA4, FB Ads, and Sheets, or upload a CSV or Excel file. 2. Build ✨ — Polymer's AI suggests insights and builds dashboards for you automatically. Use these suggestions or easily build your own visualizations. 3. Share 🚀 — Share a link to your dashboard, drop a chart into a presentation, or embed your data anywhere, like in a Notion doc. We call it BI 🧠 without the BS 💩, and the reactions so far have been incredibly positive and exciting. We’d love to get your feedback to continue strengthening our offering. It’s free to get started (no credit card required), and to celebrate our launch, we’re giving everyone 50% off yearly subscriptions! 🎉 Thank you PH and we look forward to your questions and feedback! In data, Yasser P.S. We’re always looking for great humans to join our team across engineering, design, product, and beyond, so please reach out if you believe in what we’re building! 💪🏽

Polymer is exactly what I was looking for. I needed BI for my very very early stage startup, and I am not a data scientist. I'm only so-so with SQL. For me, a solo startup founder, Polymer is like having my own data scientist. Simply awesome.

Congrats on launching Polymer, Yasser and team! Simplifying data analysis for startups and SMBs is a real game-changer. Just curious, how does Polymer's AI determine which insights to highlight for users? When we stream all the raw data, how can we ensure that the AI's interpretation of the conversion rate aligns with our expectations and isn't biased or invented? Anyway, you got my UV, good luck!

@maxtpham thanks for the support and the great questions. For data imported via data connectors, insights are influenced by the source, associated column titles + values, and related objectives/goals that can be inferred from that source. In situations where a user uploads a CSV file for example, we don't have the connector context so we lean on the the column titles, values, and other details to help generate relevant/useful insights. In both scenarios we try to judge the insights and present what are deemed to be the best and this is an area we are continuing to improve on. Most importantly, we present all insights as simple, readable questions (representing visualizations that answer those questions). In regard to conversion rate, at this time, we are simply identifying it in the underlying data if it exists (as a column titled "CVR" for example) and then generating interesting visualizations (again framed as answerable questions) like "what country has the highest conversion rate?" or "which ad creative is driving the highest conversion rate on mobile?" -- I know this is a bit brief and simplified, but I hope it helps answer your questions. I'd be happy to dive in deeper any time and thanks again for the upvote Max!

Better than any other similar tool and faster to setup. I love the charts. Could have more integrations or tools for devs that aren't BI experts.

Being one of the designers behind Polymer, I've had a fantastic time reimagining the role of data analysis in our lives over the past year. Polymer's vision is to make data accessible to everyone by simplifying the process of importing, processing, and understanding data. Human experience is the front and center of our design process. By rethinking and reconsidering the tools we use, we aim to create a new era of data analysis that is more intelligent and humane than ever before. I hope that interacting with Polymer will feel magical, providing a seamless and frictionless path from any data to an informed decision. Big props to the rest of the team for their hard work on this impressive product! Kudos to all involved! 💪
