Pandan helps you take breaks from the computer, but it is not a traditional break reminder. Pandan shows you how long you have been actively using your computer, to make you aware and let you decide when it's time to take a break, helping you form good habits.
I made Pandan out of frustration with the existing break reminder apps. They always felt too intrusive and it took too much effort to configure them. Often, I was in the middle of an interesting task, and then suddenly a fullscreen notification popped up, telling me to take a break and interrupting my flow. Pandan is not like that. It instead focuses on helping you form good habits. Pandan does have opt-in notifications, but they are a lot more discreet.

Simple and lightweight app that helps me keep track of time, which I've found helpful to get better at gauging the time I need for certain tasks. Reminds me to take breaks without being too obtrusive or jolting me out of deep focus.
