After spending 10 years learning the ethnic language of my parents, Circassian, I learned a lot about what works and what doesn't. And to help more people reach fluency, I combined the best methods into a system that works. A system that avoids many of the mistakes most language apps make. OptiLingo is that system.

Hey folks, We've been working on OptiLingo since 2017. First, we sold our program in a physical format... books + CDs via a Shopify store. Second as a basic MP3 app to listen. And now, today, we have launched a completely new website, web app and mobile app - and to celebrate we're giving it away for free. We are the only app designed to get you *speaking* a new language as soon as possible. Jonty is the founder and built the language learning program + product, while me and my team worked on the marketing + website + some of the code + UX. The app is React / React Native and the website is a custom build on WordPress. If you have any questions - about the product, the market, or the tech, just let us know! Thanks! -gary

@garysbasement Hi Gary, I hope it is an appropriate question, as your product might be related with another Product Hunt product coming up: Draftbit. Did you use Draftbit at any part of your development of OptiLingo, as I have seen your app being mentioned in Draftbit, where Draftbit was used for some parts and UI. How was your experience regarding this? One of the popular topics right now is the ability of using No Code apps which are based themselves on React Native; so if as claimed and Draftbit was used in OptiLingo; which parts were built upon Draftbit? How much of time this approached saved you (and/or your team) instead of building from zero with fully React Native? Thanks!

@kevin_o_brien1 Thanks for asking - this is a good question. We used Draftbit to build out the screens and work through the UX. It was a fantastic experience, I highly recommend it. >How much of time this approached saved you (and/or your team) instead of building from zero with fully React Native? We've never built another app on React Native beforehand, so from a time saving perspective, I'm unsure. For the quality of the UX, it was much quicker to create something much more high quality. Less revisions. We then exported the react code and completed development manually. Let me know if you have any additional questions!

Woah all these fake comments here. Leave your mates at home the next time you present your lame app with a stolen name.

@jasper_v_d_meer Kyle worked on the email for this - Brian and NIck work at Draftbit which was used for developing screens. It's not fake comments... it's team members that voluntarily support here as they're proud of their work.

@garysbasement so they're all team members. Who also happen to upvote all responses to my comments. Ok man, I get it. Good luck 🤣

Draftbit

If you've wanted to learn a language this is a great opportunity to do it -- this approach is unique from other apps because Jonty and Gary have spent time to really understand and craft a learning system backed by research and experience. Check it out!
