@ninad_sail Thanks! I actually can't wait to use it myself. I love composing music but the tools on the market today don't fit my composition style! All things I will explain in my Kickstarter video :-)
@ninad_sail In the process of creating it now. When it's finished I will link the video here. It's really difficult to create this video because of the nature of the product. I have an audience who understands composition, but if I go too detailed, I risk losing interest. If I keep it too basic, they may be like "so what"? I have to find the right balance.
@fedorguryanov Can you send me a screenshot? This is not even an alpha release. I don't necessarily consider it an MVP, but it is still a showcase of some sort. For example, sometimes if people don't read the homepage carefully and upload a large midi file, it will crash. All things I will address of course! But I had to stop major development the last month or so in order to market and promote my mission. I'm validating my market now as we speak :-)
@chopin2256 I was just unable to open the page (like 404 or smth). Now it works fine. Maybe there was some bug or just server was in the middle of update. Congrats on launch!
@fedorguryanov Ahh, thanks for letting me know. Normally when things go down I have to manually restart it. This time I didn't though, so it is peculiar how it restarted on its own. I will develop a system that tests if the server is down, and if so, just launch the script that boots up the node server. So there should be a safeguard in place once in production!
Music Jotter is a software product that enables hobbyists and professionals to write musical scores online. Since I am a composer myself, the product not only will be easy and intuitive to use, but it will be powerful enough to support complex music writing. If this product gets funded on Kickstarter and I reach my stretch goals, this will be both an online and desktop tool, where you can interchange between the two.
There may be a basic free option (saving 1-3 scores, or compose on 1 staff only), but the product is too new right now for me to make that decision yet.
The problem with the current solutions on the cloud is that they are geared more towards beginners. The online cloud products are also not fluid or responsive. I fix all of this with Music Jotter, as this product is great for beginners (since it is easy to use), but powerful for demanding professionals.
There are other features I implement, such as "music scrubbing". Here is a demo of what music scrubbing is and how it can help you compose music effortlessly: https://youtu.be/sZzTybpfP8s
And here is the developers cut, explaining Music Jotter in a tutorial style video: https://youtu.be/IxG4AIG8wI4

I am taking presales only and offering 65% discounts, with a planned release date at the end of 2023 or beginning of 2024. So my musician friends, be sure to sign up for Kickstarter, and press the "Notify me on launch" button so you don't miss this window of opportunity! I will stop collecting presales after the Kickstarter launch date of mid April.

@chopin2256 Hi Michael, I was just browsing which other products got launched today beside ours (MeetRecord) and found Music Jotter. This looks simple, hasslefree and easy to use, I will share it with my friends who play music often. Best wishes for the launch!
@jnparas Thank you so much, I need every bit of help I can get. Music Jotter is a complex beast to code as a solo developer, and the Kickstarter is going to prove (or disprove) the validity of this product to test for market fit. If valid, I will get this out end of 2023 or beginning of 2024, and most certainly this will be a product I will use for my own compositions. I miss composing music, but the products on the market just don't fit my specific needs :'(
