Dear Pruducthunt community, I am pleased to introduce you to my mind mapping app. The Android version of Mindz has been around for a while, but the iOS version is new and was not so easy to implement for me as a Windows and Android user and developer. I am therefore very interested in your opinions and suggestions. So feel free to test the free and ad-free version of my app. Thank you very much. Have a nice day. Best regards Tom

@gouthro Thanks for the congratulations and your opinion. I'm very pleased that you like Mindz. :) Regarding your question. Sorry, but there is currently no bundle price. I occasionally run sales with reduced prices. The Windows version is currently available at half price. As for the Apple version, I can't say exactly when it will be reduced again. But I think the regular price is also fair. :) But if you can wait a bit, you can also save a few dollars.

@gouthro Hey, thanks for the support with the purchase of the Pro version. I'm a bit torn about accounts and sync. Mindz is actually meant to be a local tool that doesn't store data on servers. I know that doesn't really fit into today's world but I'm old school when it comes to that. :) The compromise in the Android and Windows version was the cloud backup to Dropbox. This function has not yet made it into the iOS version. I'm currently working on the Mac version and then I'll have to think about how to deal with the issue anyway. Some users currently make do by exporting the data to a personal cloud folder (e.g. iCloud) and then importing it to the other device. This also works well in local clouds. But I am aware of the issue and am currently looking at the best way to do this. Data integrity is very important to me, which is why I don't actually want to store it on any servers. Which can also result in ongoing costs. Which is of course bad for a one-off price. And I want to stick with that in any case. I hate subscriptions etc... After the Mac version, however, I will look into the subject and hopefully find a good middle ground.

Hey Tom, How does Mindz handle very large or complex mind maps? Is there a limit to how deep the nested lists can go? Congrats on the launch!
Tom
@kyrylosilin Hey Kyrylo, thanks for your interest in my app and your congratulations. :) So there is no defined maximum size. The lists don't care how many entries there are and the performance of the map view depends of course on the performance of the device used. I have also tested maps with 400 nodes on slightly older cell phones and they all ran without any problems. The clarity in the map view naturally falls by the wayside with so many nodes. But it works. :)
