Hello PH!
Super excited to introduce Maker Mag, the first ever magazine for indie makers. It's a participatory publication, with currently more than 40 writers creating content for everyone to learn, grow, connect, and discuss what matters to makers.
Why does this matter? Because indie news publications are a great sign of a community's vitality. They are a space to inform, inspire, and connect. At Maker Mag, we brainstormed some principles, which include transparency, diversity, and honesty.
We just launched with some interesting articles, such as interviews of @rrhoover, @abadesi and @bentossell about building diverse communities and supporting other makers, tips to get started as a digital nomad or to better manage your finances as an indie maker, and long-form pieces about friendship, imposter syndrome, the definition of a startup, and more.
We hope you find it useful and join us on this exciting journey! Please consider contributing too. 🎉
Many thanks to all the contributors!
Massive congratulations on the launch! I've seen so much hard work go into this in the past few weeks, and I'm astounded with the quality of the content 🙌
@rrhoover Thanks for contributing! 🙏
That would be a whole other challenge! But yes I would love to have a quarterly print edition. Big fan of print magazines 😊
Once more, great work Anne-Laure! Quality, well-written articles on interesting topics - including wellness which matters so much. I read a few articles already and I can't wait to see what comes next.
