What do you think? …

Matthew Kochakian
Hi everyone, It’s been a few months since we launched the first version of Maisie, and we’re incredibly excited to announce that the next iteration of the service is finally here. We’ve moved from a matching product to a marketplace model and have built out our full platform. Now, you can sign up, browse available sessions, and join Circles right from the site. Maisie 2.0 is a huge shift forward from our original product, and we’re excited to bring it to you today. What is group therapy? It’s an effective form of mental health treatment that is evidenced based, affordable, and highly collaborative. People who try it swear by it, and professionals often refer to groups as “therapy's best kept secret.” Today though, these experiences are not easy to find online, which is why we built Maisie. Sessions are a fraction of the price you’d pay for a typical therapy session in San Francisco or New York, and with Maisie you can find and book them right from your device.
Check out the site and let us know what you think! — Shaun + Matthew

Love it! Is it currently open in other cities like NYC? Don't really want to sign-up just to browse circles to figure that out.

@caseyfulgenzi thanks for the support and yes NYC is part of our plans! we're working hard to bring group therapy circles to NYC and we'll let you know as soon as they're available!

@caseyfulgenzi no worries! I just connected with you on twitter so we can stay in touch. Def let me know if there's anything specific you would be interested in!

I've been to 1 session so far and can't wait for more!

Pros:

Sessions are well organized & worth it! For those interested in therapy, why not give this low-cost group therapy option a try first?

Cons:

less time to talk to a professional, but i think you can learn a lot by hearing from others!

Do you use Maisie?
