I have signup and configured the amazon keys,
but unable to proceed further from https://maillayer.com/brands page, after verifying email also it says email is not verified, tried many times, looks a bug?

@hacksman that very much depends on the contents of the e-mail, and the recipients you're sending to. Regardless of where you're sending from, unsolicited e-mail is unsolicited e-mail, you get banned on AWS just as quickly (if not quicker) as you'd get banned on Gmail or any other mail service provider.
Their feedback systems monitor bounce rates and complaints very closely. You reach 5% bounces or 0.1% complaints and all sending is paused and your account goes into TOS review. And that's just the sender level block, there's also going to be blocks on the receiving side if your message looks like spam.
However, if you are sending legitimate e-mail, to subscribers that actually opted in to receiving marketing communications from your, then of course sending from a platform like SES which handles SPF, DMARC, DKIM, unsubscribe headers and feedback loop, is going to significantly improve your chances of landing in the recipients' inboxes.
