Uploads documents so you can ask ChatGPT questions about the information they contain. Documents are saved to build a personal library of relevant information, and lxi can tell you which documents are used to derive the answer.
Hi everyone, I hope you'll have a chance to try out lxi.ai. It was fun to build!
Here's how it works:
You Upload a Document. Add a document to you library by selecting files from your local machine, adding a URL, or just copy and past text.
We Process the Document. In order to efficiently retrieve information at question time, lxi.ai uses ML to process your documents into chunks of relevant information. These chunks are then securely stored in a format that makes it easy to find relevant information for your future questions. (https://www.pinecone.io/learn/ve...)
You Ask a Question. When you ask a question lxi retrieves relevant paragraphs of information from your library. This data is then condensed into a concise and accurate (w.r.t your library) answer with the help of OpenAI's ChatGPT model. (https://github.com/openai/openai...)
I'm looking to make an API for this kind of service as OpenAI deprecated their question answer endpoint. What would you build?
@devin2 Really impressive idea! Would it be okay to include your product in my directory (producthunt.com/products/wikiaitools)? Check it out and let me know!
🚀🌟 Congratulations on launching lxi.ai on Producthunt.com! I think the name is a bit weird but I know why it was chosen. Nevertheless, this custom question-answering tool is brilliant, allowing users to get reliable answers from GPT-based AI using their own documents. 📚🧠Keep up the great work, and best of luck with the future success of lxi.ai! 🎉💡
