Hi ProductHunt, my name is Martin and I'm the founder of LeapLife. I care deeply about mental health and have had my fair share of struggles myself. It's a topic that is gaining more and more recognition worldwide, and I'm really happy to see that. With the advancement of AI we now have a powerful new tool, in addition to in-person, to help improve people's mental health. Privacy is one of my core values and it's one you can see in every aspect of LeapLife: all your data is always stored on your own device and only optionally stored encrypted in the cloud. Moreover, AI responses are never logged, and you even have the option to bring your own AI integration. LeapLife comes with a ton of other features out of the box: - Daily journals - AI memory between entries - Customizable AI personas - Customizable journal templates - End-to-end encrypted cloud sync - Option to bring your own AI Unfortunately, there's no mobile app yet, but it's on our roadmap. Very interesting. As a psychology major working closely with AI in my day-to-day job, I've wondered how AI could help in this field. I have seen many of my friends use character ai to speak to someone because they can't afford therapy and don't want to be a burden to their friends. Looking forward to seeing this project progress!

@suryadathan thank you so much! I really believe that AI opened up possibilities in the mental health space that weren't possible before. It won't replace human therapy completely, but it certainly is complementary to it.
