Kiroku is a note-taking app for clinicians that uses AI to help complete notes in half the usual time. The AI assistant learns from your unique notes and patterns to speed up your workflow and provide a rapid alternative to standard templates.
Kiroku have a fantastic mission to automate clunky and outdated software in healthcare, starting with dentistry.
Founded in 2017 by a dentist @hannah_burrow1 and a machine-learning engineer @jay_shah8 , Kiroku was born out of the stress of writing endless clinical notes instead of treating patients.
In the UK, dentists spend an average of 25% of their day writing notes, time that could be better spent seeing a few extra patients a day.
Kiroku's standout features are:
✅ An AI assistant that learns "links" between notes and outputs them automatically
e.g if you've selected the patient as a smoker, smoking cessation advice might be automatically appended to the discussion.
✅ An interface based around speed and usability. Buttons, dropdowns and multiselects replace manual writing. No more copying and pasting from documents.
✅ One-click automated referral letters to other dentists, straight from your notes.
✅ Automated post-diagnostic reports to send to your patients, directly from your notes.
✅ Automatic note auditing.
✅ A soon to be expanding selection of superb note templates from our team and featured dentists.
💬 The team will be around all day today to answer any questions!
P.S If you know any dentists who might seem a bit stressed, send them this link and when they sign up they'll get a month free and $40 off 🎊
Omg. Id love for my dentist to start using this. The system they use at the moment seems so disfunctional. And i never get to see my notes anyway so as far as i know they didn't even take any! (Although i guess there must be something hidden in a database somewhere). Btw are Brits like me still infamous for having aweful teeth?! 😂
