What do you think? …

Hey Product Hunters, 👋 This is my first attempt at building an app as a solopreneur. 📲 I did what everybody does—I delayed this moment for years. ⌛️ I thought that every problem was already solved and that there was nothing left for me to address. But one day, I wanted to pick up journaling and it felt so boring. All the apps out there were just about writing and writing. Okay, I’m writing, but then what? So this is how my idea for Joor sparked up. 🔥 All I have to do is write down my thoughts and let Joor do the rest. Joor understands and explains my feelings based on my thoughts and offers personalized activities to enhance my well-being. It’s like having a digital mood ring. 💍 – What are your experiences with journaling apps? What have you wanted to see in such an app that nobody has done for you? Let me help you discover the beauty of journaling done right. ✍️

@deniskrr Congrats on the launch! Wow, that looks nice, I'll wait for the Android version )

Thanks Boris! I'll let you know. It's coming soon! 🔜

@deniskrr wow, I was looking for AI for journaling. Will be very helpful. Kudos for the launch:)

I don't have an iOS device to test it out, but I love the design. Looks cosy and carefully crafted. I currently use Trello for daily journalling, but quite looking for a more purposeful tool. If possible, would you introduce how the AI helps the journalling be more engaging and sticky?
Denis Crăciunescu
@vunq thanks for the comment! 🙏 The Android version is coming out soon! 🔜 --- Have you ever meditated? You know how there are a lot of guided meditations that make sure you're doing it right. Or at least that you're going in the right direction. There's nothing similar for journaling. The end goal is the same. You want to feel better and clear your mind. So the role of AI here is that of a guide. You just write and we help you understand what you're feeling better. We take it a step further and help you take action on your thoughts. Otherwise, it's extremely hard if you're not an experienced practitioner, same as for meditation. We want to make the entry into journaling easier and more fun.

Congrats! Looks very clean! I would like to know in what aspects the "AI-powered" feature is mainly reflected, and whether it just provides emotional value?
Denis Crăciunescu
Thanks for the comment @zenda1122 . The AI-powered feature is used to extract the emotions out of the journal entries. We process those emotions to give the users a more detailed insight into his own mental health. We're planning to add more insights as we continue developing the app, such as stressors, motivators, etc. We want to show you what makes you truly happy/sad/stressed/angry so you can double it down or limit it. For example, if you're often writing about your job and we detect that the main emotion in those entries is "anxiety", we'll let you know. Similarly, we're using AI to give tailored advice to the user. If you've recently written that you're stressed about the Product Hunt launch — the app will suggest you to calm down, breathe in, and that it's not the end of the world if the launch goes bad. 😅

@deniskrr I got it. It's worth a try to help relieve my work stress! Good luck!
