Hi all! Would love it if you could take Jaunt for a spin and LMK what you think. This is a fresh take on document sharing for 2024, from the founders of SlideShare. If you find bugs or have cool ideas for features I would love to hear them. If you're launching today, please tag your slides with #producthunt so others can find them easily.
Also: here's our slides from the producthunt images! https://jaunt.com/j/jaunt-a-new-...
All decks from producthunt launches that get uploaded will be archived here.

Congrats on the launch, @jboutelle@rashmi@amitranjan.
I'm curious, what's the main motivation for someone to share PDFs and docs on Jaunt?
Do you see more personal use cases, like sharing resumes or ebooks, or is it more for professional content like slides and reports?
Would love to hear a real-world use case that inspired this!
@rashmi@amitranjan@ashitvora People share documents because they want to get their ideas out into the world. The super typical example is someone gives a talk at a conference, and then shares the slides so a)people can read them later, and b)people who didn't go to the conference can read the slides.
@jboutelle@rashmi@amitranjan@ashitvora
If you look at Twitter or any other social media, people are always sharing screenshots of documents and presentations - it could be talk slides, pitch deck or scientific documents. So the sharing is occurring anyway, but its via screenshots on different apps.
Jaunt hopes to create a space for that sharing to occur in one place so there can be an exchange of ideas.
Even though it's still early in development, Jaunt offers a promising new platform to share and socialize around documents, decks, and PDFs that's mobile-optimized in a way that platforms like arxiv and Scribd are not.
