Invite.social is a classy new ad-free website for collecting RSVPs for any kind of event. Creating an event is easy, and you can send out your link to attendees however you choose. As your attendees RSVP, they can leave a fun emoji response!
Have you tried to plan and organize an event lately? It's crazytown! Not everyone is on Facebook anymore and all of the other event websites out there are either jammed with ads (for both you and your guests) or cost upwards of $80 for a simple digital invite.
I started Invite.social more than a year ago after planning a birthday party and feeling frustrated with the existing options. It felt like there could be an RSVP site that would be ad-free, offer more of a website-like interface (rather than trying to look like a paper greeting card), and have free pricing for casual events and more affordable pricing for larger events.
I spent a number of months working on Invite.social, organizing my own events with it and letting some friends and family try it out. Since then it has grown and hosted over 400 events on the platform with over 4,000 RSVPs.
Would love to have the PH community weigh in with any feedback on the product and try it out for their next shindig! You don't even have to create an account to start designing your event page. Appreciate all of you!
I want to praise a shoutout to Invite Social - this app is a total vibe! What really got me hyped was how easy it is to organize events and connect with friends, it's like my social life just got an upgrade. One suggestion for the developers would be to add a feature for creating custom event themes, that would really take the party to the next level
I've used invite.social and it is vastly better than the other evite type services I've seen. First and foremost, it does not bombard you with ads. In fact there were no ads at all! Just a very clean, straightforward interface for creating and managing my event. Nothing else. Guest RSVPs are easy too, they don't have to sign up for a lifetime of spam just to attend, simply click and confirm and that's it. I wish the whole internet was this way. Now I just need to become a lot more outgoing so that I can plan lots of parties in the future. :)
@barbara_schendel Thanks Barbara, I know, it feels like ads ruin something like an event invite, where you just want to know about the event and not be bombarded. Yeah... the invite is the easy part... planning the event, food... cleaning the house... thats the hard part!!
