@andycloke it all depends, we will see. consumers are smarter than we believe. There will never be a brand that will be successful because of influencers. I always take those reports with a grain of salt because two years ago those same reports couldn't predict in their wildest dreams that tiktok would be a thing. They are good for hindsight, but they never predict the future

@edisonjoao6871 Consumers are definitely smart. That doesn't mean they won't buy things an influencer promotes. Those things aren't mutually exclusive! "There will never be a brand that will be successful because of influencers". Agree predictions must be taken with a grain of salt, but an $8 billion market does not go to 0 overnight. @andycloke smart ones know. Alright cool 5 brands, let's see where those brands will be in the next couple of years. I'm talking about brands with real lasting value. Sales are good and great, but when they become fads it's hard to have sustainable growth. I'm not saying that it will go to 0 overnight, my whole point is that it is way to over valued and that it will likely reduced. I can link stories about influencers with 100 thousand followers that can't sell anything. I'm sure you read the one that tried starting a clothing brand and couldn't sell 5 shirts. At the end of the day, I was just trying to get your point of view and sort of play devils advocate. Great points bro! Keep launching products ! Hope to see many more from you!

@edisonjoao6871 yeah you wouldn't want to be reliant on 1 marketing channel as then you're vulnerable to platform changes/ changes in consumer behaviour, but just like any other channel it can be used to get something off the ground. That's fair, it might be over valued at the moment. But to me it seems like the ecosystem of tools that are being built around influencer marketing at the moment are helping it go from the wild west to a more analytical and trackable channel. I'm hoping Influence Grid can be a part of that. Thanks for the debate, was good to discuss it with you!

Hey Product Hunt! Andy from Influence Grid here 😊 I built this tool because TikTok has exploded over the last couple of years and most influencer discovery tools still focus on Instagram. The current features include: - Search by country 🌍 - Search by topic / tag #️⃣ - Filter by engagement rate ❤️ - FIlter by account size 🇱 - Filter by average video views 👀 (I think this is the only platform with this) - Export search results (including every datapoint) to CSV ⬇️ - Search by name/ username 🔍 - See detailed statistics for every influencer, such as average video views, engagement and follower count 🔢 - See an influencer's other social media profiles (currently Instagram 📸 and YouTube) - See an influencer's email (when it's available) ✉️ - See an influencer's recent videos 🎬 I'll be adding lots more over the next month, such as historical trends, saving influencers into groups/ campaigns, and searching by music genres. Any feedback is hugely appreciated. Sorry there's no free tier/ trial, I may launch one soon.

There are definitely some platforms for tracking influencers that you've already found, like Pentos, but I made Influence Grid because I couldn't find any comprehensive discovery tools. I also think it's one of the only platforms which includes average video views - super important on TikTok.
