In the iHAQ app you can create a poll for any country using your native language. AI will translate the poll into the target language and display it in the recipient country. Without knowing the language you can interview residents in any country.
It's nice to see autotranslation and other technolohy put into place to solve cultural issues, and I can definitely see motivation to use iHAQ to make a poll. But what are the mechanics that motivate users to answer to polls?
@niketas Nikita, thank you for your feedback. At the start, we had discussions on this topic and some team members had doubts that people would vote, and even more so, follow, for example, a link from Telegram. But during the tests, we found out that from 10 to 50% of users click on the link to vote and vote. The motivation is very simple - the user tries to find himself in the results, to determine himself and to understand how many like-minded people he has.
Hello everyone at Product Hunt! My name is Dmitry.
My team and I set ourselves the task of organizing communication between countries without politicians, press secretaries and a language barrier. Social networks and media distort information and give out fakes about other countries and what is happening around. Scientists are in search of extraterrestrial civilizations, sending rovers to Mars, while residents of different countries still cannot directly recognize the objective picture of the world outside their country. We decided to take a small step in this direction.
In our opinion we have found a successful and simple solution to this problem - polls. It is polls that allow you to find out the opinion of a large number of people in one country and get an objective picture. In the iHAQ app you can create a poll for any country in the world (and for your country as well) using your native language. AI will translate the poll into the target language and display it in the recipient country. Without knowing the language you can interview 100 to 1000 residents in any country and find out their opinion on any question. This will help to start a dialogue between residents of different countries.
We have integrated into iHAQ a system that combines 11 popular machine translation services and provides the best service for each specific case for a specific language pair. This solution allows you to provide high-quality translation.
For ProductHunt users, iHAQ will help you with a variety of tasks:
- You can research the markets for free before launching your product in other countries.
- Ask the opinion of a specific audience about your logo / idea / photo if you have any doubts. There is a gender or age target.
- Check media reports about another country. Fake or not?
- Travel lovers can ask the locals about the best place (beach / city, etc.) to stay in the desired country.
- Or just for fun, ask around the people of different countries - are they happy today? Which country's auto industry do the Germans prefer? Do bears walk the streets in Russia? How often drink beer in the UK? :)
Polls are available not only in the application for IOS and Android, but also by link or QR code (i.e. you do not need to have the application installed to vote). There is a built-in results editor (available on iPhone), that is, you can turn the voting results into a customized video in 1 click to share on social networks. Polls can be created for everyone, for friends, for countries, for a specific audience and can be made anonymous (the author is not displayed).
So far, the majority of users are in Russia, and for this reason it is better to send a poll to this country. But we are working to ensure that users in different countries learn about our project.
We think that iHAQ is a "global messenger", where instead of a person, an entire country, and instead of a message, a poll.
