A small todo list that lives in your MacOS menu bar.
Ideal to quickly add some todos at the start of the day and keep track of your daily progress.
Integrate with third-party services by loading JavaScript plugins to HotList.
Hi PH!
I'm back again with another product, this time I'm launching Hotlist, a tiny daily todo app for Mac.
I built Hotlist as the start of the year but got a bit sidetracked, so decided to pick it up again this month and finish the icon and fix some tiny bugs.
Hotlist is built with Tauri, it's a web application that runs anywhere, you can try out the demo on the landing page to get a feel for how it works.
🔄 Hotlist can sync state to third-party services. Write a couple lines of JavaScript and you're set!
📄 You can select all todos with ⌘+A and then copy the current state to markdown compatible format. You can also paste markdown todos into Hotlist.
🖍️ Set text (or regex) matches to automatically highlight words in your todos.
⌨️ Customize keyboard shortcuts to make interacting with Hotlist super fast.
🔗 Hotlist automatically turns links into clickable elements.
It's free, you can optionally pay if you feel it's helping you be more productive 🎁
Cheers, and enjoy!
Congrats on the launch Rik. Looks super simple and clean. Just started using it. Would love to have support for due dates in the future, but it's pretty cool regardless 🔥
Generally people have more sophisticated to-do systems than flat lists - any plans on implementing features to satisfy different workflow, e.g. Getting Things Done?
@alexpainter That's exactly why this is not a general todo list, it's for people that don't have (and don't want) these sophisticated to-do systems and just want quick access to a tiny list of items.
