Hi everyone! I'm Bob, the founder and CEO of Hello Ivy, a next-generation project management tool that combines the power of any advanced project management tool with great UX design and simplified workflows.
We're excited to announce the launch of Hello Ivy 2.5! We've come a long way, after more than 2 years of development we now offer most features you need to successfully run any type of project. We managed to keep Hello Ivy simple to use and intuitive — there's virtually no learning curve. Dive in and see for yourself!
Congrats on your launch!
I like your "opinionated" approach and particularly the choices of features to include or reject and you designed UX and UI to align with these choices. As mentioned in other comments, the UI is really clean, congrats.
Without reducing it to that, at first glance, it feels like a tool at the intersection of a powered-up personal TODO app for team project management and a simpler Notion for documents with additional communication features like the feed for enhanced team communication around tasks within the tool.
I have been using the free version for while and love alot about this tool. Founder is very receptive to ideas and implemented embed tabs within a week of my suggestion. A great feature you do not see often is the 'status/updates feed', a fantastic way to keep team members up to date. I can see this being a way to update clients also, though it needs some more features before it can compete with basecamp/kitchen etc for a client portal (inc. custom domain, white label, better customer notifications etc), but otherwise a great tool, looks lovely and it is easy to pick up and use.
It's a great, no-clutter PM tool. It feels like they really learned from what worked in tools like Asana, Height and Notion and combined best practices into an essentials only, intuitive and sleek UX and UI. Great for start ups and young teams to get into a builder-mode from the onset.
