Let me share two stories. First, people buy DNA test kits for curiosity to know more about themselves. When we started Genomelink, many existing DNA test kit users downloaded and uploaded their raw DNA data files to sites like GEDmatch and Promethease to get more ancestry and health analyses. But they were struggling with interpreting that analysis because the sites were too technical and not user-friendly. Secondly, I was trying to promote breast cancer genetic testing to Japanese doctors for my previous work in Japan.
