We’re delighted to share FounderRecs with you, built from a need we encountered over and over:
⁃ We spent time and money on startup services that ended up being not up to par
⁃ Almost 10% of messages in our startup group chats were asking for recommendations
Thus, we decided to build “the Yelp for startup services.” A place for startup service providers to list their offerings clearly, and for founders to review and provide testimonials for services they enjoyed working with.
We hope this will make the startup ecosystem more productive, transparent, and cooperative.

I understand the need to put the ability to comment behind a subscription wall, but I'm less clear why the ability to view needs to be. It makes me wonder what you want that for? I'm guessing to market something to me?
Plenty will sign up I'm sure, but personally I need to see *something* before I sign up.

Great app! Finding a lawyer for a startup is so difficult - we have to spend so much time browsing through online forums. This trust-worthy source of information will save us so much time!
