Hey everyone, who misses personal blogs? Well, we do. A lot. They're little corners of the internet where you can discover and enjoy authentic voices β€” but they're so hard to find and follow these days, lost in feeds. We're excited to release πŸ§™ Feeds Mage, a little free tool that scans your Twitter follows and finds their blogs and newsletters. It already helped me find more than 100 blogs to add to my Mailbrew digests ✨ I honestly didn't even know some of my favorite people on Twitter had blogs! Give it a try, and let us know if you have feedback or ideas. And as always, thanks so much for hunting us @chrismessina! πŸ™Œ

So handy! Why doesn't Twitter do smart stuff like this??

@chrismessina IMHO it's probably because goes against their business model of keep us in the app scrolling as many hours as possible due to FOMO. This product is so great!

@chrismessina @almavi True story. Recall the recent Nuzzel shutdown. While it has been said a few times that a new version is underway, I am really skeptical that it will resemble anything like the original Nuzzel. The reason? Putting the focus on the content will take attention away from the timeline. In general, though, I am hopeful in the healing nature of the Web. Where there's void, it will be filled by new players. The Mailbrew team found a super nice niche here and they deserve my admiration. The lack of a good social news aggregation solution has opened another interesting spot, and I am sure that Mailbrew, our service Murmel (https://murmel.social/) and the other folks working in the same domain will eventually offer a sufficient alternative.

?makers this is superb! You folks are doing something that should have been done by Twitter itself. It amazes me how many wonderful products can be developed just by working on the inefficiencies of the existing platforms 🀩 Also, can the number of newsletter be a filter? For eg: '36' and only newsletter related results show up?
Fabrizio Rinaldi
@adityavsc thanks a lot! We're already working on filtering πŸ’ͺ

@adityavsc Just shipped this! If you refresh the page you'll find a new filter button
