FANCYMMS will accept photo assets of any resolution, and will always revert to using the original uploaded photo when additional cropping & resizing is required through the creation process. 🔀 Easily Rearrange Frames & GIF Timing. At any point in time during the GIF creation process, you can easily change the order of the frames or change the timing of the frames. 🗜️ Fast & Simple GIF Compression. If your animated GIF exceeds 500kb in size, you will receive a warning that the animated MMS should be compressed before downloading. Upload your newly created FANCYMMS GIF into any SMS Marketing Platform. … read on below to better understand why this tool can be an essential part of your SMS marketing toolkit. 🧰 As we all know, SMS Marketing is growing at an extremely fast pace, and has quickly become a favorite retention channel for many digital marketers. 📈 I’m personally a *huge fan* of SMS Marketing, and while I absolutely love text based marketing messages, I have always found messages from brands that include an animated MMS to be most impactful, especially if the message is describing a new product drop or collection. This shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone, as we all know the saying, “a picture is worth a thousand words!” 😍 51% of consumers say they’re more likely to make a purchase if they receive text messages with images and media. In general, the workflow process for the creation of a text messaging campaign is really fast. Where I encounter workflow/productivity inefficiencies is when it is time to populate an SMS campaign with an animated MMS GIF, as the creation process for an MMS GIF can be quite cumbersome and time consuming. There are two primary reasons for this: 1️⃣ The Marketer needs to be proficient in creating an animated GIF within Photoshop or a similar photo editing tool. Without proficiency on this tool, the Marketer will likely have to rely on their in-house designer(s) or agency to create an MMS. While I am able to use Photoshop just fine, I recognize not *every* Marketer is familiar with how to use Photoshop to create an animated GIF. In addition, Photoshop is an extremely bloated tool for this purpose. 2️⃣ SMS Marketing Platforms require an animated MMS image to be below a specific file size, which is usually 500kb. Animated GIF images are usually large in file size due to the fact that it consists of multiple images stitched together. Unfortunately, Photoshop does not provide the necessary compression tools to ensure an outputted animated GIF is below the 500kb threshold. A separate web tool like Ezgif needs to be utilized to further compress the GIF. Creating an elegant animated MMS using your existing brand assets, all-while working within the file size constraints of your SMS Platform, isn't easy. Through the process of managing many SMS campaigns, and experiencing the time consuming hurdles with creating animated MMS images, it's very clear to me where the pain points are. So, I decided to build a tool to solve for this. 😊 I’m excited to launch FANCYMMS on PH and hear what you all think. This has definitely been a labor of love project!
