Hey product hunters! We started building this app to help us stay focussed on just what is most important right now, hoping to avoid all the fussing about with task management apps. 😇 We'd love your feedback, once you start using the app, a link to a feature survey will pop up, place your vote(s) and tell us what you think, once we make it a paid app we'll send you a discount code 😎 Have a productive summer! ☀️
I actually really love the simplicity of this and how easy it is to add quick ideas or links to come back to later. However, there needs to be some kind of "how-to" video or walk through. I'm just guessing on how to actually use the thing and even though it's pretty self-explanatory, it would make things much smoother to have a little introduction or guide.
@noraconrad Hi Nora, thanks for the encouragement! Glad to hear that it's generally self-explanatory, I'm hoping we can make/keep it that way, though a walkthrough would be nice indeed. Which parts did you feel were less/not obvious? Thanks
@alexhofstede I guess the main thing was the difference between Do, Read and Reply, I thought they might do more than changing the color so I kept clicking around to be sure. It also took me a bit to figure out how to remove the to-do when it was done.
No way to give feedback? No support page at all? All urls saved as tasks look the same, and you can't name them? This tool has promise, but is unusable in at least one obvious use case, saving URLs to look at later.
@stoweboyd Thanks for the feedback Stowe! If you add a couple of items to DTD a feature survey will pop-up. Links need some work, for sure. The use case of "temporary bookmarks" has come up a couple of times now. 👍
@stoweboyd "and you can't name them?"; With an item selected, click the URL text; you can change its text contents to something more descriptive without affecting the link. (Double-click still opens the original link)
