What do you think? …

Brian Vallelunga
Hey PH, Brian here - you may remember me from Doppler's last launch: https://www.producthunt.com/post... Since our launch, we have heard that there needs to be a more secure way to share one-off secrets. It is understandable as using Slack, SMS, and email leads to those secrets living unencrypted in those systems forever. This brings me to Doppler Share, a new product we are launching today! It is an easy way to share one-off secrets (ex: API-keys, passwords, credit cards, coupons, wire info, lockbox codes, etc) in a simple end-to-end encrypted way where the links auto-expire after a certain number of views and days. All the encryption is done browser-side so our servers never see the raw secret or the encryption key. We built this so anyone can use it immediately without needing to create an account or jump through any hoops. Try it out: https://share.doppler.com/s/riwl... Would love to hear what you guys think!

Gave it a try. Love that the time bomb can be set to per view or temporal.
Brian Vallelunga
@marcuscoh Hahaha I have never head it as a time bomb feature. That plus temporal sounds like we built something out of a time travel movie!
mco
@vallelungabrian you have revealed my one-off secret for an affinity for time travel movies!
Brian Vallelunga
@marcuscoh me too! What is your favorite? I really liked Looper even though it wasn't as mind bending of a movie like Tenet.
mco
@vallelungabrian 👊 ... Looper is tops for me, too! I also enjoyed The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and Safety Not Guaranteed.
Brian Vallelunga
@marcuscoh Oh I haven't seen that one. I find it funny that Google thinks Lucy is a time travel movie.

Looks like someone created a maze this morning. Not the typical use-case but still pretty cool: https://news.ycombinator.com/ite...
