Databutton's agent is the perfect AI developer for non-techies. You talk about your app and needs – Databutton's reasoning agent learns, plans, and executes on big tasks. Whether you're a non-technical founder building your SaaS product or an existing business radically transforming how you operate, having AI build your software has never been easier.

Hey Hunters 👋
A few years ago, we accidentally invented the AI dev tool as we know it today.
We just wanted to build apps fast, and it turns out, letting founders build with AI was a game-changer.
Today, we’re making it 10x more powerful with Databutton MCPs:
Now your AI assistant like Claude can use the tools you build in Databutton with just one click.
Built a to-do app?
Ask: “Add ‘post on Product Hunt’ to my list.”
Built a financial dashboard?
Ask: “Email last month's churned users a 20% discount.”
It feels like magic. And it’s live today.
We’re a small team building in public, would love your support 🙌

😸 MCP is the new buzz of the town! In your opinion, what are things that MCP excel at, and what are some things MCP struggle with?
Databutton
@sentry_co Thanks for the question, André!
I think MCP today is great at anything that is text-based output OR interacting with systems. I.e. if you need text output into the client you use (e.g. Claude Desktop, Cursor, etc.) it works really well. If the agent can programmatically execute something in a system (e.g. send an email, update values in Notion) it works really well too.
There are a lot of areas of improvement.
As a non-tech person with interest in helping non-tech folks, the main one is having clients for MCP that are purely web-based: Setup today is very clunky. The best "consumer" or "non-tech" client is arguably Claude desktop, but you have to update JSON files via Developer settings, which can be intimidating.
