We’ve been busy finding ways to make you less busy, and I’m excited to share the new Command E with you. We launched earlier this year with a heavy focus on bringing one blazing-fast search experience to all your cloud docs and records, and we've since made a lot of progress towards building a command center you can run your day off.
At our core, we’re rooted in a belief that people are extremely capable but we get stuck spending way too much of our precious time on things that don’t require human ingenuity and take us out of flow. Crafting a beautiful new product feature is fun 🎉 - scrambling to make your next meeting on time because the Zoom link you need is buried in the Calendar event isn't. 😬 Simplifying all the annoying parts of our workday so you can focus on what matters is what we're all about - here's what we've added:
Calendar: Connect your Google Calendar, hit command+e as your next meeting nears, and the Zoom or Google Meet link will be right there at the top for you - it's as simple as that and it feels like magic. You can also see a running list of upcoming events and search for specific events just like another other record.
Launch files and apps on your own computer: While the bulk of our work has moved to the cloud, switching between one launcher for cloud apps and another for files and apps on your own computer is frustrating. We've pulled it all together in Command E so you have one shortcut for everything.
Seamlessly create new Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides: just pull up Command E, type "new", and you'll be in Create mode and have your new document named and created under the right account in less than 5 seconds without ever taking your hands off the keyboard.
Deeper Google Drive search: We'll now find results for you based on matches in the body of your Google Drive content, not just based on page titles.
We’ve also added lots more integrations - we’re at 30+ now - so you can trust we’ll support your team's stack. A few recent favorites include Superhuman, Airtable, ClickUp, and Spotify - just in time for holiday tunes. 🎄

Command E is an absolute must have for anyone trying to improve their productivity. I’m an equity analyst on a team of 6 that covers international stocks ex US (25,000 company universe). Suffice it to say we take a lot of notes across Slack, Quip, etc. Command E is a massive time saver whenever we are writing reports, referencing meeting notes, and the like. We can’t work without it!
