Morning hunters 👋
Thank you @chrismessina for hunting us! We're really excited!
What have you NOT skipped today? Is it your coffee? If that's the case, you're not the only one. And you're in the right place. Happy to share with you a product we've spent a lot of caffeinated months working on! But first let's dive into some hard facts.
Elon Musk has only 2 cups of coffee per day and says he sleeps "about 6 hours" a night. Hugh Jackman has his own Laughing Man Coffee brand but seems to sleep just fine. While these hard numbers don't seem to make sense or bring value, they tell us coffee plays a huge role in our life. So why spend your precious time on bad coffee?
With Coffeeopia, you don't have to rely on other's opinion or advice to find great coffee. Every coffee review helps shape ratings of coffee roasters and coffee shops. On top of that you'll get to know your taste preferences better with the help of Coffeeopia insights.
🙏 We'd like to get some feedback and I'm happy to answer questions.

Hi team ?makers - congrats on the launch! While I'm not a big fan of coffee, when I do buy it at small random coffee stands/coffee shops, I'm sometimes disappointed. So I can definitely see the value in the product.
I've checked out the landing page but still have questions...
1. It says about 3000-something coffee places, right? But where are they located? If I live in Russia and start using this product, will it show me any info about coffee places here in Russia?
2. The comments are written by users, right? What about the comments written in a different language rather than English?
3. Any plans for an Android app? ;)
@margarita_s88 hello Margarita! Thank you so much for such a thorough feedback. To answer your questions:
1. The 3000+ hand-picked coffee shops are all over the world. The places are being added daily by our team. On top of that any user can add a place just by leaving a review with a new location – we check each place manually and add it afterwards.
2. You can write comments in any language you want. Think of Instagram: you're replying to English-speaking users in English and Russian-speaking ones in Russian ;)
@emique thanks for the reply, Emil! Okay, I can imagine the number of added coffee shops should grow significantly by next year :) so Coffeeopia is something like Tripadvisor for coffee? ))
Yeah, but I speak both. If I come to, say, Italy and want to check out Italian coffee, I won't understand Italian comments. Maybe you'll consider adding something like build-in machine translation in the future :)
@margarita_s88 Yeah, you could say Yelp / Tripadvisor / Untappd / Strava but with a focus on freshly roasted coffee ;)
Built-in translation sounds like something we could easily implement, thank you for the idea!
@emique you can probably use it as the tagline when you launch with Coffeeopia 2.0 and built-in translations - "Tripadvisor for freshly roasted coffee!" ;)
