Clarify AI helps busy pros to transform vague ideas into structured insights. Ever faced a fuzzy idea at work and struggled to refine it? We did too. So, we're exploring if AI can help us organize thoughts and think clearly. Join us on this curious endeavor!
**TL;DR:**
Hi Product Hunt👋!
I am excited to share Clarify AI, my side project spanning multiple weekends. It's an AI-powered tool designed to turn vague ideas into structured insights. I would love for you to try it out and share your feedback!
**Long version:**
The release of GPT-4 earlier this year was nothing short of astonishing🤯
I dived into testing it on various tasks and, while the initial excitement was exhilarating (and it still amazes me every day), I began noticing its limitations like hallucinations or overly general responses.
Despite countless attempts at prompt engineering, I discovered that the key to eliciting relevant responses was providing better context: The more precise/relevant the context, the more useful the output.
This resonated with me. When seeking advice from someone, the quality of the advice often hinges on the amount of context you provide. Why should it be any different with GPT?
However, crafting a detailed context felt cumbersome. It boils down to two scenarios:
1. Having ideas but no time / struggling to structure them (ah, documentation in tech);
2. Not knowing how to structure the problem in the first place.
This sparked a thought🤔 could I create a tool to ease the structuring of problems and simultaneously generate the context as side product [so I don’t need to type few paragraphs]?
I've utilized Clarify AI for personal use and now I'm eager for you to experience it too, and share your feedback.
Embarking on this project, my frontend knowledge was scant (🫡 please pardon any performance issues or bugs).
It's free to use for now, though any help covering API costs would be much appreciated! 😁
**Remarks**
1. Since it is using Generative AI technology, something will go wrong inevitably. If you need help, please let me know and provide the browser URL
2. The generated questions are designed to focus on WHY and WHAT deliberately
@kingromstar yes
1. I don't know zero on frontend back to early this year, so app is not an option
2. If you have tried it, I still can't think of anyway to put the issue tree into the mobile for comfortable experience lol
