Supercharged AI assistant on WhatsApp. 💬 ChatGPT & Bard: write, read, talk, listen to them. 🎨 Dalle & StableDiffusion: create, transform, upscale using words, voice or a selfie of yourself. ⚡️ instant transcript, translation, and summarise using reactions.
I'll admit that the arrival of OpenAI's iOS app shacked this project. But the fact is, even if for us, ProductHunt's community, it seems obvious how to leverage AI and where to find it on a daily basis, for most of the people it's not. My idea behind Ciel is to leverage existing messaging application to convey AI to the people, to neophytes. But not only: I focused on how to leverage AI to boost productivity on WhatsApp, which is slow as hell to evolve while being used by 2 billions + people.
That was the idea behind WhisperBot, my previous launch. So it includes the same feature: auto-transcript of the voice notes when you forward them to Ciel.
And I supercharged it with all most known AI: ChatGPT, Bard, Dall·e 2, Stable Diffusion, Google Speech, ElevenLabs. So you can: (non-exhaustive list)
- chat with AI, yes, but choose if you want to read them or listen to them as an answer.
- create art, yes, but you get to choose if you want to do it with your voice, by writing, by sending a selfie of yourself, or even a drawing you just made.
- and some other tools that AI can provide: transcript an .mp3 music, upscale an image to 2080px, auto-translate messages by sending them to Ciel, etc.
There are four modes available: chat, artist, translator, and scribe. Some of you might want to use it as a note taker? There you go. Need instant translation? There's a mode for that. Want Bard's answer as a voice note? got you covered.
My bot as been launched on May, 24th, and by the end of the day it has been banned by WhatsApp being considered as "spam" since I got 400 users in one day interacting with Ciel, resulting in 6.2k messages sent from its number by midnight. So hopefully this will be sorted out before the launch 👀🤞
Cool idea wrapping it into WhatsApp.
I think you can well coexist with the ChatGPT app. They'll have their audience and you'll go straight for those who need a little more flexibility and cooler features.
Neat idea to make it not-a-subscription, btw.
Congrats on the launch!
@nikita_kazhin thanks! It actually shouldn’t have launched since unbanning from WhatsApp is still on going, dont know what happened there ahah. Thanks a lot for the feedbacks! Might have to focus on the cooler features as you say to differentiate it.
