Hi Product Hunt! I'm one of the creators of Caret. Caret is a Markdown editor that combines the aesthetics of prose editors with the productivity features of code editors - features like syntax assistance, multiple cursors, file manager, etc. It's based on a Markdown algorithm that I wrote a while back and open-sourced at https://github.com/erusev/parsedown. We've been working on Caret full-time for almost 2 years. We released version 1.0 about a year ago and today we're excited to show you version 2.0. Caret put me in very thought spot. Usually I use iA Writer for my serious markdown writing. But Caret handles code and table blocks a lot better.
