As a user, I can honestly say that Tibor has undersold the product. Here's the real DL: 1) Get a website that looks like it cost £10k to build... in half an hour. 2) With support for Parallax. Anims. Plug-ins. All the fancypants things. 3) Responsive and cross-device by default. 4) With a team that, somehow, deliver on feature-requests within days. 5) Providing an interface that could be used by an actual child. 6) Yet with build-a-website-for-clients grade power. 7) And it's capital-F-Free for the needs of 9/10 users. So put it this way - I just broke up with Wordpress and I'm astounded this hasn't yet flooded "free resources for entrepreneurs" lists across the web. Because frankly this is to web design what mailchimp is to CRM. Overdue, Essential, Genius. Congratulations to the team.

It is an application platform (I call it a website OS) and a simple drag-and-drop website builder built on top of it. The ultimate goal is to make it 1) as simple to use as possible while 2) also creating an extremely powerful platform. The two might sound like contradicting goals but they in fact strongly need each other: developers become more efficient at creating applications on top of it, while end-users get to use a larger selection apps. The two just has to go hand-in-hand, it's not enough to have beautiful skins. I'd like to highlight that Boomla has an extremely generous FREE plan. You will get 1GB of storage that you can use for any number of websites, without ads, on your domain, with SSL support. (Only integrations are paid, so this should cover most use cases for free.) (Plus the 1GB storage is data-deduplicated: if you upload the same website 2x, it will only use storage quota 1x. I have been using Boomla for a long time. It is very easy to use, I really like it. I use it almost every day since I have some useful websites, like a link collector, shopping list, recipe collector and also a blog. :)
