Bookstash

Hey, fellow ProductHunters! πŸ‘‹πŸ» Before I go on, I'd like to thank you @kevin for hunting Bookstash and for your patience with the listing. It's Dani and I'm a dev at Deepstash. It’s a cool app where you can read short ideas from books, podcasts, videos and other online stuff. We have this deal where we can use part of our time to build what we want which also seems cool to the chiefs. So I used mine to come up with Bookstash, which they loved. Now, I certainly didn't build it alone, so thank you, Ciprian, Daniel, Horto, Ovidiu, Sabin, Adriana (fancy UX skills there, special props) and quite a few others who lent a bit of their spare time to aid me. - The problem? I realized that those 2-3 minutes we have during coffee or when waiting for our commute usually get wasted away. - The solution? I know it sounds really weird, but I came up with it while ordering a pizza. Hungry as I was, I was not really in the mood to choose... I just wanted a "just send one over" button. So for those time gaps when you've got nothing to do, I came up with a cool website which recommends you top nonfiction books and delivers short ideas & nuggets of info from it, so you can essentially get the gist of a whole book before your coffee is over. β˜•οΈ - What else can you do? πŸ“Œ You can save your favorites for later. πŸ“ˆ You can keep track of what you read (cool progress bars anyone?). πŸ“² You can easily share the most interesting stuff with the most interesting people in your life. πŸ“š Dive into 100+ books, most of which are recommended by cool celebrities like Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos and others. I want to thank @jordan__hughes here for inspiring me. He launched https://www.producthunt.com/post... last year. Check it out, it’s amazing. It's totally free, so if it sounds cool to you and you have a couple of minutes to invest in yourself, check it out! πŸ™ŒπŸ» And of course, I'd love to know what you think of it! P.S.: Share any book recommendation you might have to add it to the list! πŸ“– Or add your ideas from it to Deepstash and share the link, that's even faster...

@kevin @jordan__hughes @daniel_raducu This is great! It would be cool if you had a search option and a simple form to be able to recommend books.

@kevin @jordan__hughes @daniel_raducu @patrick_o_keefe3 Second the idea of search, or at least another way to navigate beyond the slider. Maybe consider grouping books by type or themes?

Great work Daniel and team. You took some of the best content in Deepstash and turned it into a game-like experience. I love turning (or flipping) the cards. I hope lots of people will bookmark it and stash some ideas during their coffee-breaks.
