Once, when I've started to practice meditation really hard I became curious if it's possible to track the progress of my mindfulness, to measure it objectively rather than relying on my own feelings. I experimented for two years, trying different methods of capturing my attention level in the midst of a session, and I finally came up with this idea.
What if I check whether my attention is in the proper place or wandering at random moments of a session? This data, if gathered on every session, compounds over time into a large data set. And large numbers usually tell the truth. So I created this app to be a source of random moments and a tool to visualize an accumulating data set: a development of stable attention.
