Before developing Apollo, I used Dark Sky to plan my weekly bike rides with mixed results. I liked the vertical daily forecast, but zooming in and out to get hourly data was complex. I needed a weather app that could help me answer three questions in a few seconds: 1. What are the best days to train during the week? 2. What are the best hours to train? 3. How should I prepare myself? HOW DOES IT WORK? The UI is crafted to simplify training decisions and planning. All hourly forecasts are rated as PERFECT or ACCEPTABLE, depending on your ideal conditions and active times. Ratings are based on your own preferences instead of a mysterious formula.
