What if it was easy to use SMS text messages or automated phone calls in the software you are building? What if there was a REST API for this without requiring you to become a telecom expert or sign long expensive contracts? Integrate the 46elks' API for SMS, MMS and phone calls into your applications with just a few lines of code. Transparent pricing, no startup fees, no minimum monthly costs.

@johannesl what's the most original / fun thing built by someone using your API?

The folks @46elks released a new version of their website. The API looks super easy to use! Maybe @johannesl @andreaskrohn or @dplauren can tell us more about the app?

Basically, we've taken telephony logic from static black boxes (PBXes) right into your own web application code. So with our API, your application can do anything in the mobile networks - receive & send SMS text messages, allocate phone numbers, control incoming phone calls, build IVRs and even send MMS. We're gradually adding more features and geographical reach to our API platform, and are very curious as to what kind of features you think we should add next.
