Hey there, I'm Ayo, and I am the creator of 4.Do. I'm excited to introduce you to the newest version of my Eisenhower matrix inspired productivity app. The story behind 4.Do's: Back when I was in college, I was juggling a lot of responsibilities, and struggling to meet deadlines and maintain my GPA. That's when I discovered the book "7 habits of highly effective people" by Steven Covey. I was introduced to the Eisenhower/priority matrix, which helped me start to prioritizing and use my time better. Years later, when I got a smart phone and wanted a productivity app to help me implement this system, I couldn't find one that met my needs. So I decided to learn to code and create my own app. The result was 4.Do, which has undergone several updates and iterations over the years to be what it is today. Why use 4.Do? The basic concept behind 4.Do and the Eisenhower matrix is that certain tasks move us closer to our goals and aspirations, while others do not. Some tasks demand immediate attention, while others do not. Unfortunately, we fall into the trap of wasting our time on trivial matters that do not advance our long-term aspirations. This is where 4.Do comes into play. Unlike most productivity apps available, 4.Do lets you to categorize your tasks based on their urgency and importance. This helps you concentrate your efforts on accomplishing tasks that have a positive impact on your future plans and objectives, rather than wasting time on unimportant tasks.
