👋 D3 is amazing, but the API can a bit weird when you're first learning it. @wattenberger and I have been collaborating over the last few months to put together Fullstack D3 and Data Visualization, which is our attempt at creating the perfect D3 course. D3 is great for interactive charts, but its tricky to learn because most tutorials focus on either 1. overly simplistic charts or 2. showing off with ridiculous visualizations you would never use. Instead we walk through, step-by-step, from basic line charts up into sophisticated visualizations (and show all of the code -- and design process -- along the way). Most dataviz books are either a) "coffee-table beauty" - pretty pictures that have no relevance to your day-to-day work or b) clones of the API documentation - which are too verbose to be helpful. In Fullstack D3, we do our best to combine both theory and practice. We teach you how to effectively present quantitive information, paired with pragmatic tutorials that show you exactly how to create charts and dashboards. Enjoy! 🙏

Awesome I loved full stack react books, and look forward to this one. The chapters here seem like they can pull off visualizations with design, which is tough especially for technical people without a design sense.
