6 and a half years ago I wanted to build this app, but I couldn't figure out how to read out the MacOS bin position on the screen. I recently talked about it over beers with my friend Leon who's been building MacOS apps over the past couple years. He gave it a go and he got it to work. 💪 During the weeks after we built BananaBin together, in public. To make sure it worked we attempted a very quiet soft-launch on Twitter and Threads. We teased a picture of the bin with flies, which instantly exploded in our faces and resulted in a lot of attention. By the end of the week BananaBin was featured on The Verge, Mac Magazine, and even MKBHD tweeted about it. 🤯 We hope you enjoy the fun BananaBin brings to your mac, and of course we'd love your support, use code PHLAUNCH for a 30% discount this weekend. 🎉
