You only understand what Product Hunt is all about once you've done your first launch. Do you agree?

We launched Kryptview 2 days ago on Product Hunt. We did the 24h-marathon we had been preparing for for months: pages long checklist, all texts for tweets & announcements pre-written, contact lists ready, visuals sorted by time of publication, pre-launch briefing of the whole team, plannings, distribution of tasks...
You know that feeling when you've intensely been preparing for sth you felt you'd never achieve, and finally, late at night before the D-day, you go for the 1000th time through your checklist and realize: not only you're ready, but you FEEL ready. And there's no more stress - only excitement
- that prevents you from much needed sleep before the big start. Because now, you just can't wait to kick the execution of this exquisitely orchestrated operation.
And then we launched. And I killed that humongous checklist in 2 hours. The initial sprint was done, I could join the marathon. I connected with fellow makers throughout the sleepless night and I felt like a teenager again when I saw the first sunrays through my curtains.
We finished #7 of the day. We're proud of our launch. I learnt A LOT. Those many things that you can't learn whatever the number of webinars you watch or the number of articles you read. Experience can't be replaced by knowledge. Not fully. So I'm infinitely grateful for what I gained throughout this day. Now I reflect back, and I get contacted for support by new teams launching. And I already feel a bit nostalgic.
We're proud of our launch, yes; but we're also proud, above all, of our team, of our vision and of our product. So here's my final word: we can't wait for our next launch!

Congratulations on your launch! I hope it went as planned and you had a successful launch. Good luck!
Congrats on the launch Selin and finishing in #7 of the day! Happy for you and your team. We are near launch and the excitement is starting to appear. What give you the best result on the checklist?
Kryptview
@joanduarte it's precisely hard to say. Oranization, anticipation and coordination weigh much more than one specific entry on the checklist.
If I'd had one advice, it would be: for EVERY SINGLE action you're gonna take, think of "what are all the things that can be prepared in advance", so on the D-day, you literally only have to click the button. Basically, consider that you will not have the right to make use of your brain on launch day. That enabled me to write down clear processes that I felt confident about, and I didn't have to re-think of the coherence or quality of my actions before clicking publish/send, etc...
Good luck on your launch!
