Depends on budget and needs. In-house for long-term strategy, agency for specialized expertise.

Depends on budget and growth stage. In-house gives you more control over strategy and execution. Agency can provide deeper expertise in areas like SEO, PPC, social. For an early stage startup, I'd lean towards an agency to tap into specialized skills without lots of hires. Later stage co with product-market fit, in-house team makes sense to really own the strategy. Just my 2cents!
Depends on your situation. In-house if you have consistent ongoing needs and want someone dedicated to understanding your brand. Agency if you have project-based needs or want specialized skills you don't have in-house. Hiring in-house gives you more control but an agency offers flexibility.
@christopherdavidanderson what could the agency do to win you over during the proposal phase even if you thought you wanted to hire in-house?
Depends on stage and budget IMO. In-house makes sense for ongoing strategy but agencies offer specialized skills you may not need full-time. I'd say start with an agency while you figure out your marketing plan, then consider hiring someone in-house once you know what you need long-term and have consistent work to keep them busy. Just my 2 cents!
Depends on the stage and needs of your business. Early on, outsourcing to an agency can be more cost-effective and give you access to a broader range of skills. But as you scale, building an in-house team allows for tighter alignment with your brand and goals. Many fast-growing startups do a hybrid - lean in-house team supported by agency specialists. The key is finding the right balance for your unique situation.
