Working 16 hours a day... as an indie maker, how do you balance work and life?

Never done that, but I assume no balance could be achieved when you work 16 hours a day.

Doesn't look like a good routine, to be honest! If you work 16 hours a day, you sleep for the remaining 8 hours or do you constantly live with a lack of sleep? Do you exercise? If you don't rest enough, over time it will lead to health problems. And having breaks and activities outside of work is important to switch your brain from one thing to another. That way you can be more focused, because when you work 16 hours a day you surely lose this focus and it becomes harder to do your usual tasks. Overall, I can't say that working for 16 hours every day is a good idea. I think the best way to try balancing it with life would be to allow yourself to cut some working hours and reserve time for exercise and proper rest. In sports, when you don't allow your body to rest, it leads to traumas that can be long-lasting. We forget about it, but it's the same thing with work. Take care of yourself! ๐Ÿ’ช
