Even as a developer I still use them for some quick and dirty tasks, especially if there is no intent to share or reuse results.
For instance, once a year I will download a banking or credit card statements for some quick analysis and I don't need anything more complex than that.

Spreadsheets are easy to make and use, and the format is familiar to everybody. They are also very customizable, and you can tailor them to your needs.

I love spreadsheets because they are incredibly versatile and can be used to store and analyze data in a variety of ways. I also find them to be very user-friendly, which makes them great for quickly entering data, making calculations, and creating visualizations.
It is easy to share that's why I use
My question here is why somebody does not need to use spreadsheets.
According to my knowledge and experience, I have been using it since 2010, and It's completed all my tasks.
I can manage anything like work, team, attendance, and regular task with it without spending so much on multiple project management software or tools.
1. Ease of use

Because Spreadsheets are widely used in day to day life. Like, a network engineer when planning a network layout or a marketing manager planning a marketing campaign or a financial analyst planning a company's budget, you must use spreadsheets.
I think these are easy to use.
Because of their availability.
People use spreadsheets because of their minimalistic design, no complex UI, ease to use, and many reasons.
Because these are free

Because it user friendly and everyone can learn it easily.
It is simple, user-friendly, and doesn't require coding knowledge. They are straightforward when it comes to simple manipulation of the data in the document. Spreadsheets will live long.
Imagine sharing a Contact Table from PostgreSQL with a team of 50 coworkers. Context matters.

One of the things that people often dislike about spreadsheets is that they can be difficult to work with when dealing with large amounts of data. This is because the calculations performed by spreadsheets are often complex and can slow down the program when dealing with large datasets. Additionally, spreadsheets can be prone to errors, especially when multiple people are working on the same file at the same time. This can lead to inconsistencies and incorrect calculations, which can be frustrating and time-consuming to fix.
Can't finish my projects without spreadsheets. It's super versatile and has been using this since time immemorial.
