Why do you use certain note-taking apps?

I want to improve my app called FlowNote. Do you have any suggestions?

Hi :) @luka_verc Here's what I think!

The landscape is rich in note-taking solutions. For my company I typically use iphone notes for quick note taking and doc google for creating ideas structured in folders and subfolders. I use Google because with my team we use the whole suite to collaborate. One thing I often do is jump from a google doc to Chat GPT to take some ideas. I had seen on Product Hunt a solution that integrated a real-time discussion with AI on docs into a layout divided into three sections. Useful!

As for FlowNote, it is very interesting. It has a userfriendly layout and some magic UX parts (such as the ability to transform one entity into another by pressing on the chosen entity). I also like the UI of the pages, which is reminiscent of the UI of social network pages. This part makes it much more fun to use than the other (much more formal and "business") solutions. However, in my opinion the product is not yet focused on a niche of initial frequent users and the significant problems it should solve for them. Who should use it more often? Who is in a hurry and needs to take notes quickly? Or those who sit all day and need to organize ideas for writing or creating content?

@luka_verc It might be interesting to test an API integration with an AI model. I think one of your strengths is the UI/UX that could lead to good retention on mobile devices.

@luka_verc Not in particular.  Just easy to use and no confusing features.  I sometimes even like to write notes on paper.
