Why do so many founders go to Bali?

You know, I have wondered the same question recently. Glad to have gained some insight from the other responses :)

I have some friends who went there. Besides the cost, they say the environment there is very friendly and full of nature. They feel very productive there

I'm curious too, at least half of dozen founders I met on Twitter are in Bali. Seems like a good place to bootstrapping your indiestart-up and meet interesting people.
