Why are there AI generated discussion threads here? 😐

So Product Hunters. I definitely get the need of improving visibility, I do. However this is derogating the quality of content that we see here.
And definitely pressing down the threads of community members who actually need the support from one another.
I am also trying to spread around Co-space because we're building in public with the sole intention that it may benefit more people as it's not just for founders or entrepreneurs but startup ecosystem.
However, PH should not become the next LinkedIn. Let's keep the discussion thread clean of solely marketing-focused AI generated threads please 🙏
We are here as makers, makers-to-be and the AI generated post threads get in the way of co-learning, co-sharing, and co-creation.
PH Community, What are your thoughts on this?

Sadly, I think it's going to become worse - and it's going to be terribly difficult for platforms to pick it up.

@maxwellcdavis I definitely agree @maxwellcdavis, it decreases the ultimate quality of responses too.. if someone needs help and they get an AI generated response..
I feel you, I've been starting discussions about this problem but some of them were not approved, which is weird, they know about it, they recently did something about it, but they don't ban the fake AI users. Soo, yeah...
@chris_sarca Fascinating - I thought they'd got rid of the manual moderation.
@maxwellcdavis I doubt it, if they did, then the auto moderation is really weak, it was a popular discussion about web3 started by a fake AI user, filled with fake AI user replies, it was so obvious, but still it wasn't deleted for some reason.
@chris_sarca Hmm strange
Thinksy
Ah, interesting. Is that what's going on? I've had resposnes to some of my messages that seem really boilerplate and I don't know why I didn't question whether or not it was a real human response.
@eden_ghirmai thankfully we can still kind of tell, but it'll become harder!
