I use Reddit once in a while.
I answer some posts, and I share my products there.
We got around 1000 visitors from Reddit.

Over a period of time @kyle_desana
We experimented with Reddit for quite some time and to be honest we found the experience lacking for many reasons.
1/ Post views were sometimes evidently artificially inflated as suggested by many other users as well.
2/Subreddits rules can sometimes be non friendly against marketing attempts or even attempts to discuss a product which is not ours or being promoted
3/ Certain moderators abuse their roles and decipher the Subreddits rules in favor of certain members (they ban specific posts that adhere to the rules and allow others that clearly violate them). When we confronted them, they insulted us and silenced our chat for few days
4/ You need to be very active and build relations by investing lots of time, if your post is to attract attention. I found out that posts in "hot" section are usually posted by the same well established members
5/ Likes have been offset by unknown user downvotes all the time. The issue here is that whenever a like was registered, it was immediately offset by a downvote leading to a zero likes to downvote ratio (we inquired about this and received no reply)
To be fair, few years ago we received much more feedback, likes and interactions in our posts. Therefore there may be some new community practices or changes in rules.
Or maybe the subreddits we chose were not appropriate.
In any case, these are our observations and thoughts. We would of course give Reddit a chance in the future/

@kyle_desana Thank you for your thoughts as well.
Basically the views are seemingly inflated as they rise amazingly fast upon posting even on abandoned niche subreddits which is kind of odd.
This happened even after I removed the post and the view meter kept rising which of course was a little bit strange.
We then researched this and found a forum about people on Reddit complaining about the artificially inflated view numbers. Besides the number of views with reactions was quite disproportionate.
In any case, we could be wrong

Hey,
I had a cool experience with Reddit. I got more than 100k views on my posts that I made for my product Holoib (https://holoib.com).
@tanzirulhuda Nice what subreddit was it?

I'm mostly a lurker on Reddit but I plan to dive into its specificities to understand better how this could help us market a new product.

Using Reddit for a startup can be a goldmine for feedback and community building. It's great for engaging with niche audiences. Have you tried AMAs (Ask Me Anything) or specific subreddit discussions related to your industry? They can provide valuable insights and foster community engagement.

Reddit is one of my main Distribution channels for my B2B marketing gallery. Getting 60k-70k views / post in the r/Entrepreneur.
Definitely a great subreddit for business case studies / stories (ideally post when there is there is 1200+ people online though)
Eg. https://www.reddit.com/r/Entrepr...
Im also getting a lot of traffic by commenting on comments in hot posts too. Usually when i post on new posts i get no results, but there is also the chance the posts blow up and i have one of the 1st comments on the post too.
It's time consuming but i always try to have a long comment with tons of value and then embed my resource inside the comment too and people naturally click it to check it out..
Jaeves: Content & Marketing AI Copilot
Unfortunately, we are not actively using Reddit yet. We are busy preparing for the launch of Jaeves 2.0 and are currently focusing on improving the product itself and working with the Product Hunt community.
Don't miss the launch of Jaeves 2.0: (https://www.producthunt.com/prod...)
I'm planning to use it for my initial launch. this will be my first time using it for launching, so can't say much yet. I believe it depends on the person, it works well for some and not so good for others.
What about you Kyle?
@kyle_desana Where did you get the best results?

I am using it, and starting from scratch on any platform, I have found it to be the best way to gain attention. Just answering to comments in relevant subreddits
