Mobile is definitely easier to use on the go. You can whip out your phone and access anything anywhere. Desktop still has its place for more complex tasks, but mobile wins for convenience, no question.

On mobile everything's optimized for the small screen and touch, so it's super intuitive. Some desktop websites are a pain to navigate on mobile if they're not responsive. So mobile wins for ease of use on the go.
