I'm a big fan of LinkedIn, but I also see potential in X (Twitter). So, I decided to give it a try and created a Twitter account today (yes, I know, I'm a bit late to the party๐ŸŽ‰) I'm curious to know which platform you prefer, and I would be happy to connect with PH community on both of them. Please share the links to your accounts in the comments. After all, it's all about growing and learning together, isn't it? In https://www.linkedin.com/in/nastassia-k/ X https://twitter.com/editrls

@daxeelsoni excited to see :) let's stay in touch via linkedin
Hands down LinkedIn. Better meaningful network connections and functionality
@nastassia_k in my opinion X is good for quick up to date news. LinkedIn is better for connections and professional networking.
Nastassia
@slimmy82 Does X completely irrelevant in this case? I am fan of Linkedin, just try to find good in X :D
Nastassia
@slimmy82 I see, great. Thanks for sharing ๐Ÿ™Œ

LinkedIn is a better way to connect with people in your field of work and interest.

Twitter has more niche stuff/content for everyone. I also think it takes away part of the formality that is very present on LinkedIn which is nice. There are also build-in-public and startup communities that are a bit more approachable/share failure and real life challenges more often compared to LinkedIn where it feels everything needs to be a win 100% of the time.
Nastassia
@nicolaas_spijker Nico, thanks for sharing, so interesting!

Iโ€™m gonna go with neither and say threads.

Twitter? Didn't that die when X marked the spot?
Nastassia
@lisa_steingold1 I thought so too, but it's quite alive :)

Hey I guess we're on the same boat. I also have same feeling about potential of X. I'm thinking about creating an account myself. What are your plans for growing audience, since you're going to start from scratch. What is going to be your startegy for reaching your audience effectively? Any thoughts would help. Happy to connect with you
Nastassia
@zuhaib_ashfaq great, I think you should also give it a try. By now I try to balance with AI and literary content/ As a former publishing person, and I believe that my past experience as a lit scout in business books will help me provide audience with engaging and helpful content. I am new to smm, but I believe that it requires consistency to growing auidience. Besides, I think it's great to support other people on the platform with likes, reposts and replies If you decide to create an account, please don't hesitate to connect with me on X :)

It seems to me that it is impossible to compare them ๐Ÿคซ
Nastassia
@eugeneyarovoii yep, I agree. and still wonder which PH community prefers most
Emma Watson
X (Twitter)
Nastassia
@emma_watson21 great, letโ€™s connect
Gal Moran
X has become so toxic and polarized, especially now. However, it is sometimes easier to connect with other people on there.
Nastassia
@gal_moran18 interesting, I did not know itโ€™s easier :)

๐• feels like people are being even more open and honest than they ought to be. LinkedIn content feels like watered down marketing messages.
Nastassia
@jcharlesmuir interesting. Thanks for sharing!
