In the comments, it looks like Discord is a no-brainer. However I remember earlier most of communities were in Slack What has changed?
@kostyabolsh , it's just a sampling issue, I guess. There are still a lot of communities on Slack as well.

We have user communities on both Discord and Facebook - started on FB and then we opened Discord and found that the groups are quite different so have kept both running.

@senthil99nathan in an ideal would it would be great to just have one but our users are quite diverse so those on Facebook are not comfortable on Discord and vice versa. So we run both but eventually I think one will overtake the other!
@carolmoh , that's great to hear! One of the rare folks to run communities in two or more different places.
